Die Sammlung The Weeping Fields konfrontiert den Betrachter mit einer Reihe von Porträts. Diese Porträts sind nicht von stoischer Noblesse oder idealisierter Schönheit. Die Porträtierten, allesamt Farbige, sind bei der Arbeit auf einem Feld abgebildet.
